friday favorites

i love knowing what other people can't live without. whether it's a new gadget, an app, even a snack ... i want to know about it. i thought it would be fun to share some of MY favorite things here every friday.

one. a friend of mine, abby, opened a cute little shop in grand marais, minnesota. it's just about an hour away, but it's worth the drive. here's the thing. i have been visiting her shop from home over the last couple months! that's right, her shop is online! i have gotten THE BEST cards to send to friends + family, i have gotten some gifts + even a few things for myself. you should visit her shop, follow her on social media + maybe enjoy a little retail therapy today. two. i am obsessed with the cutest oil accessories at whimsey + wellness. i just scored goodies from one of her two launches last week. i still have a wish list a mile long from this shop. whether you are buying things for a gift or yourself, this site will deliver. check it out! three. i am loving books (hardcover + on audible), podcasts, netflix, hulu + hbo now. basically anything that isn't the news right now. because um, yeah. i can't even right now. i am reading 'if you tell' by gregg olsen in paperback. i am listening to 'untamed' by glennon doyle on audible. my favorite podcast at the moment is crime junkie. i am devouring 'the handmaid's tale' on hulu. nick + i started 'game of thrones' for the tenth time on hbo. the whole family is enjoying 'the office' on netflix. trust me, we have the time right now. four. there is no possible way i would want to be without any of my thieves products from young living right now either. seriously. the power of thieves is better than the power of anything else under your kitchen sink or sitting next to your sink. i use the entire line of products. everything from foaming hand soap to laundry detergent to hand sanitizer to a thieves roll-on. there are SO MANY products. i feel thankful to be using products that will not hurt my family + their bodies. read your labels, peeps. the power is literally in your hands. know better, do better. five. i am very picky when it comes to my licorice. that's why, it would be a sin not to tell you all about wiley wallaby. they have THE BEST licorice in the land. the soft + chewy classic red is my favorite. it's australian style, which means that i'm obviously meant to spend time down under if this is how the aussie's roll. the surprising + awesome thing about wiley wallaby? it is made right here in minnesota! just when i thought i couldn't love this state anymore. six. i'm going to chat about undies for a hot second. i just have to tell you how much i am loving the bikini underwear from aerie. they are so freaking comfortable + cute! you could get any style (there are many to choose from) and there's no way to go wrong. not to mention, you should check out everything else aerie while you're on their site. not only do i love their stuff, but i love that they put real women + their real bodies in their advertisement. three freaking cheers for this company. i love everything about them. see ya later, victoria's secret.
